This CBS V-1500a is an isothermal liquid nitrogen freezer designed to keep samples completely isolated from direct contact with liquid nitrogen. The LN2 is contained within a jacketed space between the inner and middle walls, a design that significantly reduces the chance of sample cross-contamination and increases user safety. This method provides more usable storage space compared to traditional liquid nitrogen freezers and eliminates the risk of liquid leaking into samples.
