Equip your laboratory, tissue culture room, or clean workspace with this used NuAire Biological Safety Cabinet (Model NU-425-300). Designed to provide personnel, product, and environmental protection, this Class II Type A/B3 hood features a durable stainless steel interior work zone.

The interior is equipped with a convenient side-wall petcock/valve and a covered electrical outlet. The front control panel features straightforward toggle switches for the blower, lights, outlet, and window alarm, alongside an analog magnehelic gauge to monitor filter pressure. Additionally, this unit includes a top-mounted Variable Flow Canopy (VFC) with a low exhaust flow alarm, designed for connecting the cabinet to a facility's external exhaust system.

Please note: The wooden laboratory workbench shown underneath the cabinet in the photos is facility infrastructure and is NOT included in this sale. This listing is for the safety cabinet only.

Condition & Testing Notes

Used - Untested (Working Pull). This unit was recently acquired from a fully operational professional laboratory environment. The front panel features a recent Technical Safety Services (TSS) certification sticker indicating it was successfully tested in February 2023, with a retest due date of February 2024, demonstrating it was in active, maintained use very recently!

Because we do not have the specialized airflow anemometers or aerosol testing equipment to verify its HEPA filter integrity, we are selling it as an untested "working pull." Please Note: As with any used biological safety cabinet, it is the buyer's responsibility to have the unit professionally decontaminated, install new HEPA filters as needed, and have it recertified on-site prior to handling any biohazardous materials.

Cosmetically, the unit exhibits typical wear from years of standard lab use, including scuffs, scratches, and sections of bright yellow tape holding an external airflow monitor to the front panel. Please review the attached photos closely to see the exact cosmetic condition and included components.
