We currently have two of these reliable, American-made PCR workstations available. Perfect for molecular biology and research labs, the Air Science Purair PCR-48 Laminar Flow Cabinet provides a safe, particulate-free environment for handling sensitive DNA and RNA samples.
The Air Science Purair PCR-48 is an industry-standard desktop cabinet designed specifically to provide a sterile, contamination-free environment for PCR sample preparation. It features a spacious interior accessed via a clear, folding front sash that provides excellent visibility while maintaining user protection. To ensure optimal sterilization between processes, the unit is equipped with a built-in UV lamp controlled by an adjustable 0-60 minute mechanical timer on the front panel. It also features standard fluorescent task lighting and convenient internal electrical outlets, allowing you to run small benchtop equipment like mini-centrifuges, thermal cyclers, or vortexers directly inside the sterile field.
Condition
Used - Good Working Order. We have two of these units available, both sourced from a working laboratory and remaining in good cosmetic and functional condition. They exhibit typical, minor signs of laboratory use, such as light scuffs on the exterior frames and minor surface scratches on the clear acrylic front sashes. The control panels, lights, and internal outlets are intact. The photographed unit bears a Technical Safety Services (TSS) certification sticker dated October 2022. As is standard practice when purchasing used lab equipment, we recommend the buyer replace the pre-filters and HEPA filters before putting the units into critical production.
